We are Kim and David Newell, from Hobart,
Tasmania, Australia.
We operate a family business, known as The Stamp Place, the only specialist stamp and coin shop in Tasmania.
The Stamp Place was established in 1979 and was operated by David's parents (Raelene and Rodney) until 1999, when they retired and we took over the reins.
Our backgrounds are in banking, customer service and project work
We specialise in stamps, coins, medals, postcards from Tasmania, Australia and the pacific region.
However it's amazing what else turns up in our little corner of the world!
We also offer regular auctions on eBay - Check out our feedback - currently over 5244 satisfied clients!
Our hobbies include:
Bushwalking
, golf, photography, dancing, music, Australian Rules Football, collecting books, CD's, stamps and coins.
We had two 'children' - British Shorthair cats, Monty (dec. 7 July 2006) and Jedda (dec. 12 October 2006).
