1993: One Dollar Silver Proof Coin - Landcare - Brisbane Coin Fair Issue

Description
1993: One Dollar Silver Coin - Landcare - Brisbane Coin Fair
The sterling silver coin is one of only 5,000 (continuous reeding) especially produced for the Brisbane Coin Fair by the Royal Australian Mint. The coin highlights the important issue of water quality in Australia. Vladimir Gottwald's reverse design features a tree scuplted in the flowing forms of water, symbolising the interrelation between water and the environment, particularly the importance of trees to water quality.
This silver proof coin is presented in a box with a Certificate of Authenticity. Please note, the quality of the boxes used to store this coin are generally poor and tend to stick to the outer carded sleeve and therefore have markings. The coin is in excellent condition and the price reflects the poor original packaging by the RAM. Catalogue Value is $60.
